My Story
I became interested in the field of history as an undergraduate at the California University of Pennsylvania. As an intern in 2009 with the National Park Service, I learned that I wanted to pursue my graduate degree in public history. I attended Middle Tennessee State University focusing on museum studies and historic preservation. From my education and work I have found that I enjoy working in an environment that promotes community engagement with history.
I am currently employed with the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office as the Compliance Architectural Historian.

During my off time, I enjoy being outdoors--hiking, camping, and geocaching. I also enjoy traveling, visiting museums and heritage sites.
